How-to: T-Mobile SDA
Sometimes we need a helping hand to get our smartphone running on all cylinders. Many of us have either lost the manual or it's lining your bird cage. Quick Tips & How-Tos:
How to lock the SDA- Hold the 'End Call' key for 2 to 3 seconds and the phone will lock. This will work even if you have a program open (e.g., Contacts, Email, etc.) and is a lot easier than pushing the power button and selecting the 'lock' option.
How to hide SIM Contacts
- Go to Settings > Phone > Call Options and uncheck 'Show SIM contacts'. This avoids duplicate entries if you store contacts on the phone and not just the SIM card.
How to switch from Normal to Silent and back
- Press and hold the lower right button "#" for two seconds. You will toggle between Silent and Normal modes.
How to quickly enable and disable Speakerphone
- Press and hold the green "Send" button for two seconds during a call. You will toggle between Speakerphone and Handset. (Does not work with Handsfree [bluetooth or wired] headset.)

When I lock my phone, the "end" button still works, which causes me to hang up on my callers inadvertently. This happens even when the phone is in the carrying case and the key board is locked. It will answer and hang up, and I have no knowledge of it unless my callers tell me that they called and I hung up on them. How can I fix this problem?

When I try connecting to a secure wifi n/w by putting in the WEP key .. the SDA rejects it saying the key is not correct. I have tried this many times .. and I know the key is correct as it works with all the laptops in the house. Please let me know if I am skipping some step .. or if theres a solution to this issue. Thanks!!!

I have Acive Sync 4.5, Outlook 2007 and a Tmobile SDA - I cannot get it to sync my callendar and contacts? Any help would be appreciated!!!!

I have a used Tmobile SDA for a few days..first it seems perfect but now a problem occurs....my phone doesn't play music through speaker ; i can't talk on the phone through speaker...now i have to use headset all the time regardless listening to music or talking....the speaker is basically fine ( when people call me, the phone rang its ringtone through speaker. The problem may be the program..it messed up or stuff like that...when ever i tun off the phone, when it backs on, the profile is headset, i tried to put profile in normal but i doesnt work...can anybody help me please? what can i do to fix it? leave the phone open for at least 12 hours, it will tellyou then network locked, put your code in, unlock it.
