HTC TOUCH PRO
The HTC Touch Pro™ brings together elegant touch screen response with the direct precision of keyboard entry… leaving out nothing to deliver a powerhouse communication tool in a beautiful, compact design. The 2.8-inch VGA touch screen provides four times the resolution of most smart devices, making email, documents and web pages sharper and easier to work with than ever before. HTC’s rich, touch-responsive interface, TouchFLO™ 3D, provides a stunningly intuitive way to zip through common tasks like messaging, calendar checks or making calls.

Delve a little deeper to find that playing media files, searching for contacts and surfing the web are also responsive to your touch. The web browser puts the full Internet in the palm of your hand. Websites look just like they do on a PC, and TouchFLO™ 3D makes it easy to pan around and zoom in on exactly the information you’re looking for. If you need a wide screen, simply tilt the Touch Pro sideways and the page switches to landscape view. Slide out the 5-row QWERTY keyboard to make light work of typing-intensive tasks like composing email or working on Microsoft Office® documents… perfect for when your day takes a serious turn. High speed connectivity will keep you in touch with colleagues and contacts wherever you are.

Integrated GPS can be used with maps software for a full turn-by-turn satellite navigation experience. Built-in Wi-Fi and TV-out functionality* mean you can hook up to the local wireless hot spot to surf, then deliver the perfect PowerPoint® presentation without a laptop in sight. A beautiful angle on business, the HTC Touch Pro introduces effortless presence to enterprise-standard communications.

RebeckaJ Predictive text won't turn off 11 Tuesday, 11:23 AM EST by Jessie_James
Thread started: Mar 11 2009, 9:51 PM EDT  Watch
OK, I bought 2 HTC Touch Pro's. I gave my bro one and we've never been able to get the predictive text turned off when texting. I got it turned off on mine and then out of nowhere it came back on and won't shut off.

Any suggestions how to fix this before I toss the stupid thing out the window?

I went to Settings, Input, Word Completion and unchecked the box "Suggest words when entering text". Is there someplace else that has to be turned off?

N0ISV Touch Pro QWERTY keyboard problem 0 Oct 25 2009, 8:51 AM EDT by N0ISV
Thread started: Oct 25 2009, 8:51 AM EDT  Watch
I have had my HTC Touch Pro for abt 3 weeks now. The QWERTY keyboard does not always work? I can get it to work, but it should not be this way? There seems to be A LOT of the same problems from people all over the world, the QWERTY keyboard either fails all together, or works sporadically?
I have talked to a HTC tech about my problem, he will not confirm or deny there is a problem with the Touch Pro QWERTY keyboard?
But to send it in and they can fix the problem?
I have a RMA and address to send it in, before the warranty expires, but I wanted to try this HTC site to see if anyone else has the same problem, and found a fix, without sending the unit in??????
Hard and soft reset does not work?
When sliding out the keyboard, and it is unresponsive, but the screen is on, pushing the power button off then on, seems to activate the QWERTY keyboard every time. This DOES NOT SEEM NORMAL?????
Thanks for any help...

ggranger1 Contact Sync Problems 1 Oct 23 2009, 12:01 PM EDT by PWRDbyTRD

I used to be able send the contacts to my Blue Ante Supertooth3. But since I have added photos and more information on each user it will not take any with that extra information.
