Some days ago I switched my phone off and connected it to the charger...
Only a red light came up (with some flickering)... So I unplugged it and pressed the power button: nothing.
Then I switched off the light in the room and and I pressed anoher time the power button... the red light was flashing...

What's happening to my phone? I ordered a new battery.. hope it helps...

Anonymous Battery Life issues 6 Nov 17 2008, 4:14 PM EST by denco7

Agree with the first poster regarding the data connection not being released. I have a MTeor and if I manually disconnect after syncing, I get 2 days battery life easily. If I don't disconnect, even if I don't transfer any data over the data connection after syncing, the battery life is less than 8 hours! This is really poor and there is no fix planned.

I have asked the folks over at Pocketmax if they can add a data disconnection function to phoneAlarm SP (it is part of phoneAlaram for PDA). If you have a MTeor (or any WM5 phone which is affected by this issue, and I know there are others), please post your support here http://www.pocketmax.net/smf/index.php?topic=4009.0 - if they get anough requests, they may try to add the feature.
