Cisco CIngular 3125 headphone plug adapter: where is it? (page: 1 2 3 4 5 ... last page) 122 Saturday, 5:48 PM EDT by Anonymous

I want to use my own headphones when listening to MP3's (think Bose noise-cancelling headset). Does somebody sell an adapter to convert to a US stanadard 3.5mm plug? Are these items usually made by HTC or 3rd party companies?

Anonymous Unable to mute or stop SMS message ringtones during playback 7 May 2 2008, 9:39 AM EDT by Anonymous

If I set a longer ringtone (MP3 or MIDI) to ring when I get a new SMS there doesn't seem to be a way to stop the ringtone short, you have to let it ring all the way through. Test this by setting Jig as you SMS ringtone and send yourself a SMS and see if you can figure out how to stop the ringtone before it finishes, short of turning the phone off that is. I have server monitors that send out SMS messages when there is an issue, 24x7, so I need to have a ringtone that is long enough to wake me up but I also need to stop it when I'm awake.

Anonymous Stange Keypad Behaviour 1 Apr 21 2008, 9:29 PM EDT by Anonymous

Suddenly my 3125 started to ignore pressing function keys under the main display. They still cause backlight to come on and text above (showing function) to change color but no execution of function takes place. Additionally number 0 on the keypad causes works as no 5. I wanted to reset the phone but since function keys are not working in UI I can’t get to the correct menu. Also when trying to hold the function keys during powering on - actually does bring the black screen with text prompting to press 0 for reset - but pressing it does nothing. Is there any other mean to perform the reset?

Anonymous Uninstalling "Cingular Xpress Mail" 8 Apr 20 2008, 4:01 PM EDT by Anonymous
Thread started: Mar 29 2007, 3:19 PM EDT  Watch
Has anyone else had issues trying to uninstall this program from their 3125. I used the "Remove Programs" in second menu of "Settings". But once i uninstall the program i constantly keep getting a "Notification Error" that reads "Cannot execute /Program Files/Cingular/Xpress Mail Smartphone Client/calview.exe". Also the fact that on the home screen where it once said "Xpress Mail Claendar Please register your device" it now says something to the fact "Click here to install Cingular Xpress Mail". It is a program i just don't want and just wont go away. Dose anyone have a solution or am I SOL?
p.s. I even called cingular about this and they told me the only way think that might work is to do a factory restore, yet this program came on from the factory, so it shows how much they know.

j-bone Problem with random rebooting 11 Mar 30 2008, 11:52 AM EDT by Anonymous
Thread started: Dec 13 2006, 7:57 PM EST  Watch
Every couple of days, I'll be walking along with my Star Trk in my pocket, and I'll hear it play the sound it plays when booting up. When I look at the screen, sure enough, it's booting up. I keep the phone in a pocket by itself, so it's not getting in a fight with my keys or anything, and it isn't prefaced by me bumping into anything or any other kind of shock to the phone. I never hear it shutting down, only booting up. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried about my phone just randomly rebooting whenever it feels like it?
