Even if the 8525 has a WiFi feature, you can't access the internet unless you pay the data package from AT&T. I don't see why a data package is required where in fact AT&T is not providing me any extra service. I pay Charter for my internet cable connection and I am using my own home wireless network. AT&T also failed to post information in ads or inform customer's that this 8525 WiFi feature will only work with a data package. It is a catch that some of my freinds also discovered. SO, unless you are willing to pay a hefty price for the data package with AT&T, don't expect that your smart phone 8525 can access internet even if it is capable.

I purchased the HTC Touch from Telus. BIG PROBLEM with MEMORY LEAK, power/standby key useless, will freeze and have to take out the battery and insert it again, in order to function again.
BUT what really succks the most is that i called HTC and CANNOT do anything, instead they are passing it along Microsoft!! I went to Telus, they replaced it with a new one....and guess what!!! the new one has the same problem!!

I recently received a demo 8525 from Cingular. I suspect that it may be a pre-release version of the 8525. How can I determine this?

This my first smartphone and it is the best phone I have ever had! The fact that it is so user friendly is a big plus for me! The qwerty keyboard is great for texting and emails and the alphanumeric keyboard is great for texting while you are on the move! Personally, HTC made a great phone with the Libra and I am looking forward to the HTC Touch when it is released in Canada!
