I'm also having the same problem. It seemed to have begun when I was using my bluetooth headset and I also had my phone plugged in to the wired headset connection (to play music over my car speakers). I still have not found a solution - I was going to try reinstalling the OS, but I see that does not work.

Does anyone even know the cause of this problem? I think that would help us solve it.

Ok, I solved the problem. I found on another forum that you should clean out the headphone jack using a needle or something. Be careful of course, but I did this earlier this morning and now my phone is back in working condition. It was in the same condition - ringtones working, but no in-call, system, or wmplayer sounds.

What I think happened is that there was some dust or something in the headphone jack that caused the switch in there to be continually depressed, making the phone think the headset was always in, and not directing any sound through the regular speaker. I suggest playing some music on wmplayer while you do this, so you can tell when it is fixed (that's what I did, and I was so glad to hear sound coming out of my phone again).

So clean out the dust from the jack and you should be in good condition. Hope this works for you!
