is there any way you can change the text color (white) on the TODAY screen? i don't want to use a dark background anymore...

Ok, so I just bought a Wing like a 2 weeks ago after having a sidekick 3 & slide... huge upgrade :D

Anyways, I'm still getting used to the whole WM6 setup, and I'm having trouble with my text message ring tones. I uploaded a custom 30 second ringtone to the 'Windows' folder so after I go to Settings>Sounds & Notifications>Notifications tab>Event "Messaging: New text message".. I then select the audio file that I want to use when I recieve a new text.

Everything works perfect up until I actually recieve a text, unlike other phones i.e. my Sidekick, when I would get a new text message, the ringtone would go off, but immediatly after the message is opened the sound stops. Not the case with the Wing? When I get a new text on my Wing even after I go to the message and open it up the ringtone's still going off for another 25 seconds, and found the only way to stop it is by hitting the quick volume button on the left all the way down to silent.

This is pretty irritating to have to change my phone to silent EVERY time I get a new text, then having to turn it back up or onto vibrate EVERY time after I'm done. Is there a way to cut off the ringtone when the text is opened... or am I just going to have to settle for a quick little beep?!?! =)

Hi, I'm new to this community and a bit on the ignorant side when it comes to technology. I'm having a problem setting up my two msn hotmail account on my new wing. Doesn't seem that the guys at the Tmobile store know how to do it either. Haven't gotten and answer from MSN as well. Can anyone help?

After a couple of day's I received my Navigation software and I started to install it on my S730. Unfortunally I keep getting the following message: "Unable to install application. Please update your device ROM to the required version before trying again"

Two things, 1, I can't seen to get the message of my phone, it keeps on comming back (with a 3minute interval. give or take a few) To remove the message from my screen I need to start over my action becouse it's forcing me to go to the home page. And two, what are all messages I read about the ROM update which this smart phone requires. I'm talking about the forums ofcourse. Please respond urgently, becouse I want to change my HTC for another device.

I have a few quirks with processor speed and such.. being only a 200Mhz Processor it can get a little slugged but since it's all stored solid state its usually the sluggishness when you open something for the first time.. It's such a great phone I even run skype on it and other than Tmobile's Edge/Gprs it does great on my wifi network.. I run Google Maps and quite a few other things that are system intensive and it does a good job.. This is a great phone for the price and the battery on full will last 3 days if you can handle a little slowness switching between programs.
