Avid HTC user; I get all of the devices and use them at one time or another and I am currently using the AT&T Tilt running MR1.
I am always looking for new Tips and Tricks other users have found for their devices so post away-my only request is that they be clear and complete, I hate having to ask questions/for more information that could have been included up front. If you are going to take the time to post, do it well! Nothing makes me crazier than long, drawn out threads that could have been wrapped up in just a few posts!
I spend a great deal of time on this and other forums that include HTC devices soaking in all the knowledge that is out there and I can keep on my toes!

having problems with my htc tytn2 as i installed a version of TOMTOM satnav that didnt read the maps no matter wot i tried, so i uninstalled or deleted files, hav deleted shortcuts to the program too, but my htc like to keep trying to run the exe for this tomtom program that allows it to connect to my gps, due to me deleting all files it brings up a notification error telling me it could not find the program to run it, do you have any idea how to stop making it do this autorun or remove the program completely which i obviously did not do?! it is very annoying as every time i switch the screen back on the notification is there :S

i would be greatfull for any ideas! thankyou!

Hi, Browntannis! You appear the one who has most recently made updates to the sites, which makes you the designated receiver of passed bucks... :)
I see a number of issues:
1. The site seems to have trouble remembering that I'm logged on. I'm using Firefox, if that matters.
2. I'd suggest putting a large note at the top of http://www.htcwiki.com/accountnew to tell people that they do NOT need to create an account and log on in order to post comments or ask questions. It looks like a significant number of people are creating new pages in order to ask a question (In other words, a lot of junk articles which should be tossed or whatever). I was going to make this change, but apparently it's a system page.
3. My understanding is that the Cingular 8125 is a variant of the T-Mobile MDA; may I suggest putting both under the Wizard and possibly merging the two? Right now, 8125 has its' own hierarchy.
My email address is valid, in case you wish to email me. Thanks! --Scott.
