mannycanada How to change screen orientation? 2 Nov 2 2009, 10:38 PM EST by BeauGManIII

I want to know how I can change manually the orientation of the display (from portrait to landscape & vice versa)?

I read elsewhere that the G-sensor will do it automatically. This is true with the Opera browser, not with other applications, including Win6.1 or Flo3D.

I think I should make a donation to this website lol.....because I need assistance again.....

Since I tried to make a vpn network everything got a little bit screwed up. I've redownloaded now my settings from my operator.

When I connect to my wifi network:
Is working-> Internet , email (receiving AND sending is also ok now, because I added the right port), weather, stocks
Is not working anymore->msn messenger and rss hub

When I try to login in msn it says "A problem occured with the connection of the phone, check if the phone has good range and try again" But I have excellent range..

When I try to update the rss channels or the entire hub, it says on the top ''problem occured on last update" if you click on that, you read this "there has been an error downloading the channeldata: An internet connection could not be established. Connect the phone to the network and try again"

I've read to put ''uses proxy server'' setting off to get messenger working. But it isn't helping.

Please someone??? I want to get my phone fully functional again! (the only problem I had, was not sending mail...now I can send mail, but more isn't working...).

Thanks in advance!!

Ps: I tried the following, I connect the phone with usb to my pc. And Normally I can use my browser or other internet-things. But even now, my rss hub and messenger can't connect. While my browser, weather, stocks can!

maarteneestermans Outgoing mail (Hotmail) - Receiving mail: works, Sending mail: doesn't 3 Sep 26 2009, 7:35 AM EDT by htc_ali

Here I am....again:)

This is something that has never worked on my diamond2, and it should be. (WM professional 6.1)

I use hotmail as emailaccount. My settings for my ''hotmail account":
*Incoming mailserver (POP): pop3.live.com
*Login: **********(my hotmail login)
*password: ***************(my hotmail password)
*Remember password: Yes
*Outgoing mailserver: smtp.live.com
*Outgoing server asks confirmation: yes
*Same password and login for outgoing mail as for incoming mail: yes
"Advanced settings for server" tab:
*use ssl for incoming mail: yes
*use ssl for outgoing mail: yes

I've googled on this, and this should be the right settings....Or does someone thinks it's not?

I also found a registry-fix for problems with outgoing mail:
http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/index.php/2008/10/15/windows-mobile-smtp-fix

I've also tried to install this fix, but it's not helping.

I'm always getting a message, something like ''can't send mail, check your accountsettings or netwerk-coverage"

Does someone has suggestions?

(I can receive mail without any problems and download the attachments, but I can't send it)
