HTC Touch Pro 2 - HTC

Business success depends on human interaction. You can often get more done with a quick phone call or a face to face meeting than you can in strings of emails. So why do all business phones seem to ignore the importance of calls? The Touch Pro2 treats your calls with as much care and attention as your messages.

Straight Talk™
HTC’s Straight Talk makes communication more natural, intuitive and effective. It is a way to seamlessly transit from email to a single or multi-party calls as well as a flawless means to complete conference bridge calls. The innovation is completed by dual microphone and speakers that turn your mobile into a professional quality speakerphone by the simple action of placing your phone face down on the table.

Speak Out When It Matters
Sometimes your opinion needs to be read, but sometimes it demands to be heard. The Touch Pro2 is equipped with a spacious keyboard that makes it breeze to get your message out. But when written word is not enough, it only takes one touch to respond to an email with the urgency of a phone call.

Get all the key stakeholders involved. If they were in on the email, then simply tap next to their image icon to get them in on the call. The HTC Touch Pro2 helps make it easy to share your ideas with all the people that matter.
Speak Out When It Matters

Straight Talk™ Speakerphone Innovation
Nothing ruins a conference call faster than not being able to hear what is said, or make yourself heard. The HTC Touch Pro2 puts crystal-clear sound quality and voice reception at the core of its design. In fact, it is a palm-size professional conference phone with a loudspeaker and dedicated noise-cancelling microphone that delivers superior quality conference calls.

glassbawx TF3D displaying 1 unread SMS 1 Today, 12:32 PM EST by PWRDbyTRD
Thread started: Today, 10:34 AM EST  Watch
TouchFLO 3D has a glitch to where it shows 1 unread SMS message. It shows 1 unread SMS message even when you delete/remove all read and unread sms message(s) from the device and reboot, it will also still display the 1 unread sms indicator even when you force TF3D to refresh. Normally the usual fix for this was to bite the bullet and perform a factory reset on your device wiping out all data, however i have found another fix. Below is a link to a .cab file that will resolve the 1 unread sms issue without performing a factory reset on the phone.

Sedg Word Completion... 10 Today, 11:48 AM EST by Sedg
Thread started: Aug 5 2009, 12:33 PM EDT  Watch
I just upgraded(?) from the Pro to the Pro 2 and for the most part I am pretty happy with the improvements and new features.

One thing I can't seem to find are any settings for Word Completion on the Touch Pro 2. I actually became quite used to that feature and find myself texting/typing slower without it.

I can't be the only one who is unable to find it and turn it on.
Where can I find the Word Completion settings on the HTC Touch Pro 2?

smittytouchedit2 BMW iDrive Phone Bluetooth connectivity issues 0 Jul 17 2009, 2:56 PM EDT by smittytouchedit2
Thread started: Jul 17 2009, 2:56 PM EDT  Watch
Hi All,

Pairing seems to work ok
Both devices list each other
The phone connects the BMW BT device as a hands Free device
The BMW BT device then attempts to read the contact database
(This request is accepted on the Phone)
The Contact database appears in the BT list on the phone, but then the BT connection fails and drops.

Worked fine previously with Windows Mobile 5 (HP iPAQ 6915W

BMW Service claims no software updates of the idrive are necessary but does not guarantee compatibility :-(

Anyone any ideas?
