  • Thread Cingular 8125 Hello, I bought a cingular 8125 (HTC Wizard) when i recieved it the Q key wouldnt respond, and still doesnt, i bought it off ebay brand new and the user doesnt exist anymore, cingular refuses to repair it, will HTC fix it since they created the product? or is there a substitute to getting a replacement/repair?   • Thread cingular 8125 i have a 8125 that i got from cingular. i switched to T Mobile now and was told this phone will not work right with them. ( windows and internet part) Is this true?   • Thread Cingular 8125 Storage card I just transferred my 2 gig mini sd storage card from my Cingular 2125 to my 8125. The 8125 does not recognize it. The card is good and readable by my computer.   • Thread 8125 Has anyone else's experience with the 8125 been that it is an overpriced, hard to use piece of junk? I've had the 2nd one since January, it took Cingular 3 months to decide to replace it. The new one needed the screen aligned all the time. This caused a huge dent in the middle of the screen so, now it has a huge dead spot. I can't align the screen anymore. I finally learned HTC made the 8125 and called them today hoping maybe they took some pride in their products. HTC's best guess is the screen will cost $170 to replace in a unit that has problems. I can buy a phone for $170. I tried to talk to a supervisor, but wasn't even offered a call back when they were all in meetings. It's possible I just got 2 bad units in row, but I don't want to spend more to find out. The 8125 should be used for years in a business but it is in my experience a 9 month unit. Cheap cell phones perform better than that. My advise to anyone asking would be to stay clear of the 8125 and HTC because it's overpriced and badly made and no one there seems to care. Does anyone in management at HTC care to change my mind? My name is Brad Burge and my phone number is 304-489-9268. This is a land line since the 8125 is out of service until I send it back.   • Thread unlock code for 8125 cingular I have the htc (cingular) 8125 and I would like to unlock the phone to use any gsm card in the world. does any one know how to get the unlock code information without paying up to $25 ? I don't mind paying a fee but from what I understand the unlock codes are a nominal fee, not 10, 15, 20 or 25 dollars ! thank you...s1w

The Expensive phone would not come on again even after trying a new sim card the the store provided even a new battery will not take a charge and turn the phone back on.   • Thread Cingular 8125 - sound issue in call I own a Cingular 8125 and am having problem with sound during a telephone call. I cannot hear any sound whatsoever. People can hear my voice (so the mic seems to be working) but I cannot hear anything. I tried a headset as well as speaker phone option but I still don't hear anything during a phone call. The phone rings as well as I can hear media files playing. The phone is the only function that doesn't work as mentioned above.

    Please let me know if there is anything that I can do to fix this.

  • Thread Problem Cingular 8125 selecting items within a list I have a Cingular 8125 and a few weeks ago I am facing a problem with clicks on some interface elements, for example:
    When it used to work the stylus selected an item from my Active Task and show up directly on the task detail. By now, I cannot do this anymore. Another example, before, on File Explorer I used to double click on a paste and the WM5 got into the paste and so on…
    Weird that the central button (big one) of the equipment also stopped working. Would it be a coincidence?!
    BTW, I have already done a Hard Reset and it still not working. Please, does anyone has a suggestion to solve this problem?
