"Dear Sir/MadamThat error is usually seen when you are trying to use Desktop Passthrough (using the data connection from your PC for internet access on your device). This error shouldnt interfere with Syncing only with trying to use Desktop Passthrough. If you are trying to use Desktop Passthrough well, that error means that there is an issue with your PC and that something needs to be changed in your registry settings (I dont remember what). Try searching Micrsosofts site for the answer, I think that is where I saw it. 3 out of 8 found this valuable. Do you? |

"check this out.I get the error message about half the time when trying to connect GPRS. Neither synching nor desktop support is a factor. I have not hooked to a PC for months but the error messages began last week. A soft reset will sometimes make things work, but not always. Sometimes I can connect, but cannot navigate further. "I have a Tilt, and I get same error message each time I try to connect to the internet!! Any solutions??"I am also getting this. This is what I've tried to see if it works. I found it here: http://www.mobilepractices.com/2007/10/internet-pass-through-connectivity.html [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows CE Services] I added a new one: AllowLSP with Value "0" I then did a soft reset. So far it has worked, but it has only been a few hours. I'm hoping it sticks... Do you find this valuable? |

Look what i found Here is the solution:Open Registry Editor on your desktop (Start/Run and type "regedit") and locate the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows CE Services. Right-click on the Windows CE Services and choose New/DWORD value. Type the name "AllowLSP" and leave the value zero. Disconnect and connect your device and Pocket Internet Explorer (and all other applications) will start working. I had the same problem and this solve me out ... Take care ;) Do you find this valuable? |
