In theory this device should work with the smarptad - but the software says that the IR prot in in use by another application.. does anyone know how to solve this?

Whenever the phone is in the pouch, and there is sime compression of the pouch, it either turns down an incoming call, or picks it up while in the pouch (withou me knowing i got a call. Question can I neutralise these two buttons. Locking the device doesnt help, since when you get an incoming call, ilt autonatically activates the two phone buttons.

Hi, i have problems setting up a PAN connection between my Htc P3600 and the notebook(Packard Bell Easynote). I manage without any problems to set up a bluetooth syncronisation creating a partnership(using Windows mobile device center) with the notebook but when i try to connect to a "Bluetooth personal area network" it won`t recognise my device Can anybody help me? Thanks.

Hi guys!!
my uncle came from europe and left his p3600 with me, here in Brazil, i tryed the unlock solution from pof (xda-developers) but it still locked.. i tried flash several radio roms and roms, hardspl etc.., i notice that when i start my p3600 it gives me this information: M:05 B:05 D:3.00 R:NONE G:NONE And i notice this too: Settings>System>Device Information>Version: ROM version: 3.1.2c.AX3L ROM date: 07/24/07 Radio version: NONE Protocol version: NONE Settings>System>Device Information>Identity: Model No:TRIN100 Platform: PocketPC IMEI: (blank) Can you guys help me unlock my p3600 thanks a lot!! PS: sorry if i post this in the wrong place, im new here |

My Trinity constantly loses data off of the storage card. Sometimes the files mysteriously show up. A search of the internet show other people are experiencing the same problem. This phone does not have enough on board storage space to warrant it's price if you cannot add more space via a functional mini SD slot.

My phone only rings for about 4 rings then stops. I miss a lot of calls this way and can't find how I can fix this in settings. I also need help with bluetooth. We have two cars with bluetooth installed and I can hear the people who phone me, but they can't hear me. Can anyone help me on these two important issues for me.

Our company provides mobile QC systems for healthcare and the military. We have some clients who want to totally disable the bluetooth feature in the HTC3600. We have done this through various methods with the other handhelds that we have supplied, but have not been able to do so with the 3600.
Can anyone make any suggestions or provide a link that might help? Thanks Stephen Walsh |

I have no idea what I'm doing here but if anyone needs the right settings for Cingular I thought starting a thread like this would be a good place to start. Settings like WAP.CINGULARGPRS and the others like that would have been helpful to me at first. I had to got to the Cingular store for help because the settings are like the Cingular 8525 ones but I didn't see the "U" in a box at the top like I did on the 8125 when connected to 3G.
With my Trinity I get a box with 3G in it and another smaller box to the right with another 3G in it which means I'm getting the 3G service. To get Cingular support I lied and told them I had the 8525 phone. Oh well.

Anyone tried to use SDHC microSD cards in their P3600 (using a miniSD adapter of course) ?
Does the trinity suport SDHC flash memory can't find any mention of it on web anywhere. Sandisks site does not even list HTC as a manufacturer! Thanks Dave W

I have a problem with my HTC P3600
The "start" menu begins to pop-up continuesly and the touch screen stops functioning. Soft and hard format didnt help. Taking out the battery for 10 minutes helps but the same thing occurs again when I try to activate programs. (As I search on the internet forums, I saw many who has the same problem.)

There is no Americas support for the P3600 and the Europe P3600 support say says to contact the carrier. Will HTC be providing any support for the HTC-branded product in the U.S.?

Hi, I got this phone (which is great), but I only get a 'G' icon and not an 'E' even though I know my operator has edge (works on other phones). I am also getting GPRS speeds (45k). I checked the registry entry for enabling the icon, and it's set to '1'. What's going on here? Why can't this phone access EDGE?
