http://www.wirelessground.com/ci31steahewi.html for a wired one.
I use BH-902, perfect Bluetooth phone & stereo receiver for multiple bluetooth audio resources with any headsets. I use it with my laptop, pda and 3125 and receive calls too ..... Expensive but worth it. http://www.mobilecityonline.com/wireless/store/productdetail.asp?productid=22717&refid=GGbh-902&gclid=CI6qyLOi848CFSBeagodNVwbKg

How can I disable start-up music and shutdown music? |

I have a Cingular 3125. About 6 months ago I was futzing around with some .xml files like home.xml and found a parameter where I was able to disable the start-up/shutdown music. I get up early in the morning abd my wife appreciated not having my phone wake her up in the morning! Last week I installed the updated phone firmware, which has reset the startup music and now I can't seem to find the correct .xml file to disable the music again (I can't seem to remember which file it was that I found it in last time). Can someone please tell me where this parameter is? Is it hidden now in the updated firmware?

i've heard that if you leave BT on, it resolves this issue... unsure how accurate that is... also, i'm not aware that this issue affects the Cingular branded version (3125), or the imate. it seems to be an 8500 specific issue.

External display screen date in wrong format? |

you can change the display format of the date on the external screen... all you need is a registry editor. the key is HKLM\nls\overrides\SSDte and you should be able to change it freely... it should actively update, else, a soft reset may be in order.

There is a shareware utility called Flash Format, I thinks its $12.95. Or you can download and try it free for 10 days.

QTEK 8500 on Cingular misses calls and emails |

This is not a tip, but a significant problem that I've had with my 8500. Unless I reboot the phone about a half-dozen times a day, it will miss voice calls and stop receiving data (email). Before I was aware of the problem, I went for several days without getting a call or even missed call indicator. By the time I checked voice mail, I had 7 or 8 waiting and some were several days old.

So far, there are no tips or tricks posted here...only problems and questions. I have therefore created a new Support / Problems page, and suggest using it for such items, and reserving this page for it's intended purpose. Thank you everyone for your contributions.

I get this frequently. Removing the battery and replacing it solves the problem for me. Let's hope HTC fixes the issue with a firmware update.
