    posted by chrisdoubleu   Saturday, 12:55 PM EST   Watch When I clicked a link on my PC it opened a popup window with a .php extension. when I clicked it on my 8125 it downloaded the file and I can't view it.     oeminfo.xml file needed for MS Reader activation
    posted by dvoran   Oct 4, 5:44 PM EDT   Watch Apparently all Windows Mobile 5 devices need a file, oeminfo.xml, to be supplied by the manufacturer in the root directory in order for MS Reader to be activated on that device. Microsoft supprt indicated this file should be provided by Cingular and/or HTC.
    I've spent over 3 hours on the phone with Cingular and browsed around HTC sites without any success. Cingular says that if I find and install this file HTC will void the warranty and I should accept buyer's remorse and return the phone.
    Trouble is, I do that and Cingular doesn't have another Windows Mobile 5 platform with which to provide me the service I need. If I punt Cingular and go to Sprint or Verizon then I'm penalized for breaking a 2 year contract.

    additing a Pause in phone numbers stored
    posted by sg14all   Friday, 2:12 PM EST   Watch using some calling cards, i wish to add pause when i store the phone number in the contact ex. 312 444 4444 pause p(enter pin) 3333# pause then i can enter the number manually or through the stored number. how do i do this.     ESCape key?
    posted by thekernel   Oct 16, 10:13 AM EDT   Watch As you all know, there is no ESC key on the pullout and/or "soft keyboard"... Does anyone know of a way to send an ESC key sequence to applications (PocketPutty for example) using the keyboard? Or a way to remap an existing key (the Windows key perhaps) to perform the ESC function?
