HTC TOUCH Language

i have an HTC touch from italy and i tried to chnage the language from italian to english using the phm registry editor, but i was not able to locate 1034 so as to chage to 1032, i found the sys language under 1040..please advise procedure to change from italian to english

il give u a quik run threw what i did on my dell x50 i took the original ROM and using i hex editor i copied the lines that say what language it is and i copied it into the english ROM to trick it if you what more details i can send u a link
