I just bought a wing a 1y ear ago (probably less)
but I just noticed thay My faves are gone from my main screen and from my settings

and it wont sync trough USB

i havent droped it or damaged it in any way

any suggestion

oh and my warranty is over and i have no insurace

I was running MemMaid on my tmobile wing. Went under the setting were you can switch memory not sure what it is called and clicked to enable the phone asked for a soft reset and I pressed yes. The phone reset and now runs through the tmobile screen and windows mobile screen and freezes while loading my home screen. Freezes at different points while loading screen but still freezes. Well I don't even know if I would call it freezing I can put phone to sleep and bring it back, key pads light up it connects to power/cpu but will not connect to active/sync. Tryed removing sim card and sd card. I've also tried to hard reset it comes up on a screen with a red bar green bar and blue bar but does nothing else.

Not sure if I'm hard resetting correctly and I've seen something on running in boot mode but not sure how to do so.

Any help would be great. Thank You

I've used the wing, but currently prefer the Shadow (with the software update). But, I thought I would pass this along. For anyone looking for a new Wing, there's a way to get a Wing for $99 (with a new line of service). Not sure how long it runs, but I know it's working now. It's similar to the Shadow promo, but here's what you do:

ok i just got my wing a couple weeks ago, after a few messages bout low memory i purchased a 1gb storage card, i immediately transfered a couple programs, music, and pics over to it. I really don't have much running on my phone no knew programs on the main storage and only about 80mb on the 1 gb storage card. So i thought i was good to go! so i sync a small 40mb vid from my pc to phone, go to work, i have some funny stuff to show my co-workers.i keep trying to open the video, it plays for a second then i get some message about unable.because of memory.i can't recall the exact message. so i had to close and press play about 5 times b4 the vid would finally play, when it played it played very slow, staggering/moving in slow motion. I stopped all programs except windows media in task manager.

oh, and how about the time i was ready to record (video) of some co-workers before Christmas break and I got the unable to open camera because of memory message.nothing was running in task manager, i had to power off phone and then i was able to record my restless co-workers who didn't want to be on camera from the start.

Is there any way around all these memory problems with the Wing? i don't use many programs and all pics, small vids, ringtones are on my 1gb storage card, i get memory error messages even when internet explorer and messages aren't running.

When deleting preloaded ringtones (ex: /Windows/Rings/X'mas song) and images (ex: /My Documents/My Pictures/Birthday_gift) it give a warning ...is a system file. If you remove it, your device or one or your progams may no longer work correctly.

I want to know how safe it is to go a head and delete these. I assume it is quite safe. Didn't know if anyone has deleted them already and had no problems or if anyone knew of any you shouldn't delete.

When my Wing(Herald) waas in perfect condition with all the software i needed, i performed a full system backup using HTC Backup 3.1. Then when i was experimenting around, i screwed up with some things, so i thought i'll just Hard reset and then restore the backup. But when i did hard reset and downloaded the utitlity again and went to the backup file it started to restore the data, but at 2% is just stopped and performed a soft reset, and noone of my prgrams returned. What can i do to restore my data???????
