Bluetooth Connectivity w/ Pioneer AVIC-D3 / CD-BTB200
Mar 2 2008, 8:43 PM EST
Connects to "BT Audio" only if soft reset is performed. will only connect upon initial pairing, Phone calls are able to be made while connected to "BT Audio", "no data" is associated with the phone call: after connection is terminated, the connection will not automatically establish, re-"pairing" must again take place to obtain a connection. Under no condition am I able to obtain a Bluetooth connection through the "BT Phone" controls; "connection error" or "invalid device" is displayed. The Wing behaves as if the connection has been made. I have been unsuccessful finding a solution from T-Mobile or Pioneer Electronics, they tell me "sorry the Wing is not compatible, there is nothing we can do for you". anyone have a clue how to fix or patch?

since I wrote this, to my surprise, although there is "no connection" and if the unit has been paired through the "audio player", upon an incoming or outgoing call the bluetooth unit does connect on its own! It is a no-frills connection (no data) other than an incoming call's # displays, but the audio works great and does suspend whatever the unit is doing to take the call. Of course this is FAR from acceptible, but the raw function appears to work.

I have the Sprint Mogul and I updated the operating system for the mogul. You can find it at HTC.com. MY BT audio work now, but my bluetooth will not pair or connect to my Poineer AVIC N4. Any suggestions if your bluetooth is working.

Try going to "jetwaremobile.com". I downloaded this patch and now everything works great with my D3. I now have auto connect on my bluetooth connection....NO INVALID DEVICE MESSAGE!

"I downloaded this for my Tmonile wing and it works much better...but I still am not able to get my phonebook (contacts) to syn."Yes...I had to beam "contacts" one at a time after I was able to connect using the "Jetware" program. It's not perfect, but at least it connects instantly and I have had no problems with calls/connections via bluetooth. Do you find this valuable? |

Try deleting the program from the phone and re-installing. Ensure you downloaded the program for Windows 5 and 6. The phone I use was the TYTN II. Hi. I just had Best Buy install my AVIC-D3 / CDBTB200 . Basic blue tooth functionality works with my phone, and I don't get all the features available. There is no option to register the phone with the D3. Also, I have to reconnect my bluetooth each time I get into the vehicle. I have a Motorala Razr cell phone. The issue I am having is identical to the first poster.

Once you have your phone connected, try going into the phone registration mode. Hold down on one of the empty buttons for a few seconds, this should populate it with your phone. The auto-connect function should work after this and you should not have to manually reconnect each time.

once your phone is connected, go to the av menu on your d3, press bt phone then menu then function and there you should see the phone registration button, register your phone and then you should be able to beam your contacts to your d3, your unit will not stay connected during this process, but will respond to the info transfer by indicating "completed". your d3 may seem like it does not like your phone, but after you go through the registration process, it should work great.

I have the avic-n4/cd-btb200. I have had not been able to connect my sprint Mogal (HTC 8600) to my unit via bluetooth. I have updated my rom with no luck. Jetware seems very complicated. Are there any other options to get this phone connected. Pioneer was no help nor sprint. HELP!!!

I have my Verizon LG enV connected to Pioneer Bluetooth and it works fine. I want to transfer my cell phon book and get to the phone book transfer button and when I press it, it goes to a blank screen. It does disconnect my phone, but there is no start button to press.
