I assume you are referring to MemMaid. This is a good program, saves a few megabytes. A tool called System Mechanic actually allows you to move programs and file folders to the storage card. It goes through the registry and updates every reference to every file or program. That saves LOTS of megabytes. But Handango is bad. They rip off programmers for 40% of the money, and they have the nerve to charge us for the privilege of downloading the programs we bought if we need to do it at a later date. Pocket Gear sells the same programs for less, and future downloads are free for ever. And they save the registration number for you. Do you find this valuable? |

Handango is like hollywood and the you guys are the writers guild (no respect). I am glad there are forums like this where one can share & donate. I have a question for you: My audio manager for my Herald took crap and now freezes with or without the storage card inserted. Would hard resetting fix it? If not, where do I get the program?? I had exactly the same problem. As the other person said, download MemMaid. But get it by using the link on the phone (under programs called Handango InHand) and NOT by registering online using your comp. Also set yourself up with a password at the same time before making the purchase.I had to replace my phone twice because of connection issues to the GPRS and each time i simply signed back on to Handango Inhand, entered in my username and password and reloaded the program for FREE. I've had no issues doing this and even downloaded the same program on my cousin's phone. On Handango inHand theprogram only costs $14.99. I also moved the program from the phone's memory onto my storage card and it saved some room. Now if the message popsup, i clean out my phone in seconds. You also have to remember to delete out attachments that download from your messaging accounts. I changed the settings to download attacments to storage card but I noticed this only applies to yahoo, gmail etc. if you set up your hotmail on their live service, than it's messages will download attachments to a folder on your phone automatically. "for different software downloads tryI have to suggest you avoid Handango. Not only do they charge high prices, but they charge you for the privilege of allowing you to re-download the software you already bought. Additionally they do not keep a record of your program registration passwords. PocketGear lets you re-download forever for free, and keeps a record of the passwords for every program you buy. Paul D. Yes - especially deleted e-mail files. I kept getting out of memory errors. I checked and checked, then noticed 2000 deleted e-mails. Once I erased those, the phone was fast again...until I broke the screen yesterday.

If you are having problems with memory, please take the advice of those suggesting MemMaid. It's the best program I've found for cleaning up memory problems. The first time I ran it, it cleared over 15MB of junk from my phone. I would highly recommend it! (it's well worth the $20, but the demo works just fine for a quick fix) Do you find this valuable? |

Well my T-mobile wing has the same problems!!!! Its irritating to have to press the end key several times to hang up. wat i did to end all my problems i moved all my pics, vids, tones, and apps to the storage card and i cleared the storage on the phone. on the wing u tap start then tap settings then tap the system tab tap clear storage type 1234 and tap yes. it will be like you just got the wing wen it resets. after i did that my phone runs smoothly it isn't slow at all. ur camera should be able to start even if 4 apps are running. it makes u love ur wing wen u do all that. Be sure all ur contacts are saved to ur simcard B4 u clear storage or they will be lost. Do you find this valuable? |

hey,You shouldnt have to pay for a 3rd party app to view your memory usage. theres a free one bundled in with wm5 and 6, mem manager? tells you how much memory is on the phone, and on the card. As for your memory issue, your phone is telling you that because you are low on available volatile ram memory. <too many apps currently running or not enough ram to cache the app your trying to run> go into start\settings\add remove programs, and DUMP remove whatever programs you dont use much or dont need, from the phone.. NOTE, You can reinstall these apps if you want through activesync just dont remove them from activesync. Oh, Incidentally I got the same problem trying to run windows live on my tytn. said the same freaking thing. did the above works fine. btw, spend the cash and save the grief. spring for a 8GB card and dump/install your apps in there. As long as the app dosent call on the cpu directly, you can run the apps from there. good luck 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

I can get above 18 mb. email me if you cannot find the update through HTC or T-mobile. I got it from a friend that works there. customerservice@intriguedtravel.comI wish I could just upload it here. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

"The other item I have found to be quiet successful is the use of the Micro SD card. After installing this i am able to load my extra programs on it instead of taking up precious main memory. This card can also be designated for just about all storage requirements from programs, photos, videos, music, e-mail, email attachments ect. It’s not only the card but the windows os that allows this successfully with every program i have tried. The latest windows mobile software has made solid strides towards functionality and stability."How do you tell Windows Mobile to use the storage card for programs, photos, etc? 1 out of 1 found this valuable. "for different software downloads tryHello, I had the same issue for a while and it made me really sick about my P4350 until i found this topic. All ringtones, pictures, themes, even active sync folder have been deleted but low memory problem was there. I did 3 things to overcome this problem but frankly i dont know which one solved it. Anyway at least those are harmless operations for me and i wanted to share them here: 1) install "quick page pool size changer". This software was not listed in programs after installing to my p4350, but it turned home screen to blue colour. 2) install "BS battery status". It was listed in programs but not working. 3) Delete internet explorers history and temporary files. internet explorer-menu-tools-options-memory and "clear history" and then "delete files" I had 0,4 Mb free RAM before doing above things, now 16,26 Mb. That is realy beyond my expactation. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
