Infiniti QX 56 blue tooth not working

Bought the phones 4 days ago and blue tooth was working perfectly in QX56. Then, we got the upgrades (downloads). Before the cupcake update our G1 was compatible with the bluetooth (the car). Since the upgrade it does not work. I heard from a tech guy that it 'might' be the stereo headset upgrade that is causing it to no longer function. Anyone have any ideas??? Greaty appreciated. Do you find this valuable?
