Bluetooth problem Diamond touch HD with buildin carkit Renault Laguna

By googling on the net, I discovered that my problem is already known by many people. It's not a specific Touch HD problem, as I see the old messages, it's a problem on most of the HTC models.
I can pair the phone to my build-in carkit. I can make calls and receive calls. BUT the audio quality is not great and the biggest problem, the other side cannot hear me!!

When I read all the other messages, the suggestions are to tweak the bluetooth settings (didn't change anything), to use jetware (I didn't do it because people reported that it didn't work), to update the carkit version (still waiting my dealer answer).
I did send a support message to HTC, but didn't receive an answer yet ;-)

So I'm adding this message to the long list of existing messages about this bluetooth problem with little hope that somebody will respond with a solution, but you never know...

I've found the solution: update the romsoftware of the buildin carkit Renault Laguna to minimum the version 25 92 000 28R
After that everything was working! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Hi ericvb,

My Renault dealer and Renault Netherlands are telling me they don't know this solution. Did you implement the solution yourselve or did your dealer altered the romupdate.

Where are you located so my dealer could contact your dealer.

My car is a Renault Laguna from 2007, the model just before the current one.
The buildin car system is the Carminat bluetooth DVD auditorium system.
It was the dealer who did the update because it was not only a cd, but also there where manipulations to do with the car computer. He did receive this CD/DVD from Renault Services.
I don't know exactly the address, but if you google on 'Ruts garage Mol België' you must find the address and telephone numbers. Ask for Erwin and mention my name and Diamond Touch. He will direcly know for what you are calling ;-)
