Microdrive disappearance issue

I have had the HTC 7500 (earlier version) for just a little less than a year and everything went fine. I was very happy with it. Only a few days ago, I started losing some programmes and now I understand that the microdrive has gone away completely. Can't reformat it, does not show in memory status menu anymore ... gone! I tried a couple of soft resets but no result.

Any idea of how I can revive the microdrive or should I take it back to the shop immediately???

Please help me.

When all less fails, You may want to try a hard-reset

I had a similar problem and had to format microdrive. When I tried it would not let me so I went to "recover Microdrive" then formatted it. I do not put anything on the microdrive anymore due to this problem...TJ
