On the HTC Touch, you can find the Device ID in "Settings - System - Info". However many software registrations are using the Name field in Owner-Info instead of Device-ID ("Settings - Privat - Owner Info"). Hope this will help you or anyone else.

Hello, did you find the answer? I need the same and can find only IMEI # there... Where the hell Device ID # in 8 digits form is?

"My S/W requires me to have a device ID to register and install correctly. Is this ID no. same as IMEI# or Serian No. or something else (how do I find it?).The number that it is asking for should be the SN number that usually starts with HT. ON the Advantage, it is on the battery door. Do you find this valuable? |

Hi. I found something like that: Start/Settings/System/About/Device IDBut I don't know that is what u looking for. I have HTC TP Good luck ;) 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |
