Ringer ID

I keep seeing that this phone supports Ringer ID (Distinctive ring) but I can't find anyway to select it. Is additional software required?

If you are referring to the ability to have different ringtones for different people who call you, then yes you can do that. You just create a Contact for the person that you want to be identified with a different ringtone. When you create (or edit) a Contact you will see that one of the fields is called "Ring tone"...simply click in that field and select the ringtone that you want to hear when that person calls you.

go on the internet to "www.tuneusin.com" has many catagories and many MP3 and MIDI files to download for free.

the contact type has to be an Outlook, NOT a SIM
