I have lost my Task Manager shortcut/ Quick Menu. It is shown as enabled in the Button screen but it just is not there. It was working fine till I installed Spb Pocket Plus, but after I uninstalled Pocket Plus the Quick Menu had disappeared. I have tried numerous soft resets and a hard one.

Helpful suggestions please? Do you find this valuable?

Do you still have SPB Pocket Plus loaded?
This is odd, I have that same application loaded (love it) and my Task Manager Shortcut is still visible.
What do you have in it's place on the Today screen? Do you find this valuable?

Spb Pocket Plus is not installed now, I removed it before doing a hard rest.

There is nothing, just a space, on the Today screen. Do you find this valuable?

try hitting as follows:

settings
system
"task manager"

When in task manager" hit the Button box at the bottom and the last item on the screen will show "enable quick menu...." 5  out of 5 found this valuable. Do you?

I had a similar thing happen - not when installing Spb.. but when adding a program to the Exclusive list. It suddenly crashed the task manager. Since then, I've tried everything I can think of, but it won't come back up. There is no task manager, just a space on the Today screen. When I go into settings->system->task manager, nothing happens. Click on the icon and nothing.

Any ideas? I've got an HTC Touch.
