Unlock p4000 phone
Nov 15 2007, 11:00 PM EST I just bought a telus p4000 htc phone. I am on a bell mobility plan. How can i unlock my phone from telus to use on the bell mobility network? 5 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you? |

Jan 30 2008, 2:17 PM EST Hey, I got a P4000, and got the subsidy lock code like mentioned by browntannnis, however it still does not work. The reasoning is now that each provider "buys" the esn from the manufacturer (htc) and then that esn # is entered into their database and programmed for their network. So when I tried to activate the phone on bell mobility it did not recognize the esn cause it's not apart of their database. They can activate it anyways on a new account but then usually gets activated as analog phone which is pointless cause then u don't get the EVDO network or txt msg'n etc. Hope this answers your question.
