HEY . I got a russian ROM on ma HTC Touch n i know nothing bout how to use it , i hardly answer ma calls . so plzzzzzzzzz i need an english ROM for it n don tell me to do any steps on ma phone cz i know nothing about russian language. can u help me about that ????????????????? i need urgent n easy way to do it . thx alot

sorry for bothering but i have one more question. if i got the orginal cd for the english ROM ( HTC then can i use it. cz when i called HTC technical support , they said no i cant. cz its got a serial number realted to the with the phone , and as long as my serila number is not da same in the cd then it wont work!!!!!!!!! duhhhh!!!!!!!! can y help me about that???????

Its very clearly spelt out how to do this and where to get all the required software. u dont even need to know how to read russian. just plug in (Sync) ur phone to a windows pc, flash the HARDSPL rom .... reboot, and flash again with the english rom. Isnt this already clear and simple? otherwise, sell ur phone! and dont ever use a windows mobile based device ever again. there are other similar phones that dont run on win mobile platform. I have an HTC Touch. It is not HTC Touch HD or any thing else, it is P3450 !!Will the procedure mention by GH74 works for this device. I have downloaded and tested below RUU and got the same errors: RUU_BlackStone_HKCSL_WWE_1.19.831.0_Radio_52.49a.25.26_1.09.25.14_Ship.exe RUU_BlackStone_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.18.707.1_Radio_52.49a.25.26_1.09.25.14_Ship.exe The error is: Error [270] Update Error The image file is corrupted. Please check your update utility. This error happens after the progress bar shows 1% Am I using the correct RUU. I have downloaded above files 2,3 times and made sure that the files are not corrupted!! Any Idae ?! Do you find this valuable? |

gh74, i did the first part youstated to do but I cannot complete it, now my touch hd does some strange this, such as the color is not good, it show discolored, and after a few minutes the color comes back. it is also slow in response. I could not continue from step 4 to step 5 with the flash, each time it does this the file is corrupted. can you please help me. I just got he phone in france and want to chnage to english. please help me in getting it fixed. Or if so can I put it back to the original state. Iti is still in french. What do I do now. Cna you possibley send me an uncorrupted file to reggiefrancis@yahoo.com. I am at a lose. What ever youcan do to help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Please help me, I dont know the fix these problem."Read posts #16 and #26 above. #16 has specific information how to flash a new rom with english, but #26 warns that you have to find an english ROM that is specific to YOUR PHONE model. You can do it, but you need to be very careful that you are flashing the ROM that is specific to your phone. Do you find this valuable? |

I need original rom for htc touch dual (niki 100). My rom now is 2.16.831.3 and radio version 1.65.29.22. Is that latest versin of rom and radio? And my Htc touch dual SOMETHIMES doesn't receve messeges. Like last night,I try to send a new messsage from another cellphone to mine but only light on display just turned on, nothing else, there was no new messege. How to fix this problem?
