hi all i just got my new htc touch
was excited, was working at the store, the girl said to charge it before ti hits yellow, anywya i went home and forgot to charge it and went to bed, but when iwoke up the green light keeps flashign but when i push the on button for 5 secodns it wotn turn off or turn on, the green light keep flashing, pleas e help

small reset button on bottom of phone poke it with the sylus to reset phone. hope this is the answer/fix you need 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Mine is doing the same thing.. Took it back to the store and got another one and it is also doing it. Dont think I should have to reset the phone every day. Also i found that I am not getting messages when it is in this state.. :( There should be some kind of fix for this. Do you find this valuable?

Before you can power the device off, it has to be brought out of the Hibernate mode by simply pressing the power button once. If that doesnt work, try removing the battery, put it back in and turn the device on. Do you find this valuable?

Yes i Have the same problem. i have so many problems with mine. I got applications that dont work. see discussion forum Sprint HTC touch. I have to reset using the stylus. What is going on? Do you find this valuable?

Hey, It might be the card.. I had a 4gb card in it. took it out and so far have not had any problems. Don't think the software from sprint it set up for that size card.. try taking the card out and put in a smaller card. 2gb or smaller.. see if that works. Do you find this valuable?

I've had this phone for about a month. This week the phone has started to turn off by itself (most often after carried in pocket or after intensive use). After this you cannot turn it back on without taking off the battery (soft reset works sometimes, not always). Also the phone feels a bit warm. What can be the problem?! Can the processor overheat? 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

IO BOUGHT MINE ABOUT 3 MONTHS AGO AND HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS EXCEPT I HAVE A BLACK SPOT ABOVE THE HTC LOGO! ANYONE ELSE HAVE THISPROBLEM??? Do you find this valuable?

Mine has the same problem. The phone has started to turn off by itself after some use. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it? 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

i have the same problem...after a month it start to power off several times for day...impossibile to use....i have one 2 GB sd card....i did hard reset too....but is the same....i can't understand...i'm really stuck! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

you need to use your stylus and reset the phone and it will turn on!

i just got my htc touch 2 weeks ago and i love it, although as of 2 days ago it stopped working properly ... the night before i did shut it off.. and the next morning .. the "windows mobile" (loading screen) now takes 10+ minutes to get load .. and my touch screen does NOT work .... I am at a loss to how this even occured... bell told me to call them and seek a replacement Do you find this valuable?

I have an HTC Touch dual with the exact same problem. Phone is working fine, then suddenly switches itself off - lights are still blinking, but the power on key has no effect, and also opening the slider doesn't bring the screen back to life either. After rebooting (either pulling out battery, or by hard-reset), battery status shows 50% or more, so I don't think it's a low battery issue. Seems to be an issue with many HTC phones I guess - any one with suggestions, sure would be appreciated! Do you find this valuable?

I hade the same problem, I have found that if you re-seat the memory card and sim it seems to behave itself for a few days-weeks. Do you find this valuable?

Hi all!

I have the sane problems, especially when carried in pocket, or when touching the earphone jack while listening to MP3s.
By the way I amusing a 6GB card.
Has anybody solved this problem?
As I still have guarantee I am thinking of exchangin it, but if this is a general failure. 1  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
