Anyone know how to specify use of Port 587 (in windows mobile 5) for smtp/POP3 email as opposed to default port 25? Do you find this valuable?

I'm having the same problem. I would like to find out the answer to this one as well. It seems to default to port 25. If you know how to change it that would be helpful. thanks Do you find this valuable?

I can't speak to Mobile 5, but with Mobile 6.1, I can, and it is not very fun.

You need to recreate the mail profile again, and in the outbound server name, you need to put in the FQDN:port (i.e, smtp.comcast.net:587) without clicking out of the field until filled out completely.

Its a bug with MS Outlook Mobile. You cannot reedit that field, otherwise it defaults to port 25.
