Display went REAL bad
Oct 26 2007, 8:29 AM EDT I replaced my first Tilt due to a battery problem. I have to remove and re-insert the battery every morning. Got a new one replaced after 5 days i bought it. The second one has a bigger problem. The display went completely blank the next day after replacement. I went to the ATT store. First they said I have to send it to the manufacturer for repair as they know i was there the previous day. The guy probably think i was playing with the Tilt and breaking it up. It made me look like a immature kid who doesn't know how to use a phone. I feel bad that I have to go to the store again and again for a product that went bad. I like the Tilt and its the only reason for me to move from Verizon to ATT. I know how to use a phone and I use it for my own business and personal reasons. I have already bought so many accessories and don't want to cancel my services though I have 25 days to do so. I was told to return back today as the store manager was not in house when i went to replace the second tilt. I will have to see what the manger has to say. The reason I am posting this note is because, I came across this posting and found it helpful to prove that the product has indeed gone bad. I tried everything to restore..soft and hardware reset. But none to the rescue. I want others, who face the same problem ,to know that they might be running into the same display issue. These postings will help in bringing out the issues with the Tilt . And I hope the folks at HTC and ATT will acknowledge that there is indeed a problem with their product and should work on rectifying these problems. 10 out of 10 found this valuable. Do you? |

Oct 27 2007, 10:08 AM EDT The customer representative who asked me to come back again wasn't at the Store. I wonder whether they lose their Salesmanship if they accomodate customer with returns and cancellations. But the good news is the Manager was at the store and he listened to the problem and was kind enough to exchange a new phone. I am glad ATT does see the problem. I love this phone and will recommend this to anyone and everyone. Good Job ATT. 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
