receiving good 3G reception if possible

exactly how do go about downloading the cingular configuration to my jasjar, i have the cingular sim card installed already by please guide me step-by step as to how to download this configuration to my mobile phone i'm new to this and don't want to screw up anything, please help

From what I understand, the JasJar has the 3G band for Europe only and not the US. If you can find a way, I'd like to know as well.
