HTC Touch Screen Alignment issue
Sep 18 2007, 9:16 AM EDT I bought a HTC Touch few days ago and I am experiencing severe Screen Alignment issues. I have to manually do the Screen Align task to fix it and it reappears after some time. It would be nice if HTC can come up with a firmware upgrade. 29 out of 31 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: HTC Touch Screen Alignment issue
Nov 5 2007, 12:16 PM EST Mine HTC Touch doesn't really have any problems yet except for the Camera, every time I take a picture with it, it doesn't show up in my phone album, says this jpeg can't be read, I thought this was going to be a good phone. 3 out of 4 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: HTC Touch Screen Alignment issue
Dec 24 2007, 10:46 PM EST I've had the HTC Touch on Sprint for almost 2 months now. Recently, the screen has been rolling, or scrolling, like an old tv that can't lock on to a picture frame, and it just keeps rolling up the screen... It started when I was watching a show in Sprint TV channel, the picture rolled accross the screen intermittently, so I thought maybe it was a symptom of data transfer or something, but when I shut down the viewer and data connection, the today screen started scrolling, where the top inch of the screen showed up at the bottom of the display... I can't tell if this is a hardware issue, such as a driver chip, or a firmware problem... Any info would help! Do you find this valuable? |

RE: HTC Touch Screen Alignment issue
Jan 18 2008, 10:17 PM EST i find my screen alignment issues reduced when I removed the screen protector. I find it also occurs from possibly inserting and removing the Touch from the case it came from 0 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: HTC Touch Screen Alignment issue
Jan 29 2008, 6:16 PM EST I have had the same problem, if you have set the camera to save to storage card, then this will happen everytime. You have to select for all pictures taken using the camera of the phone to be save to the main memory. Then if you want to save the pictures to the sd card, you will be able to drag and drop - or let me say copy/cut and paste to the folder of your choice on the sd card... Hope this helps.. :) 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

But I do face problem with misalignment very frequently! Do you find this valuable? |

RE: HTC Touch Screen Alignment issue
Feb 20 2008, 8:51 AM EST Try tapping the four corners of the screen. I had the same problem with my Touch, my touchscreen stopped working entirely, even after several power-downs. Searching the Internet, I found this idea, and it worked. I tapped the four corners of the screen firmly and it started working again! 4 out of 7 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: HTC Touch Screen Alignment issue
Mar 25 2008, 12:07 PM EDT I'm facing an issue where when someone calls and I try to touch the "answer button" the phone completely freezes and I can't answer it nor ignore or do anything else for that matter. It happens at least once a day. I took my phone to get replaced but even the new one does it. Any suggestions anyone? Do you find this valuable? |

Mine works well for like 3-4 days and then goes crazy for another 3-4 days. Can anyone suggest like a long term solution? Or will sending the set back to the service center help? 1 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

May 8 2008, 11:06 PM EDT I have the same problem. Updated my Touch to Win Mob 6.1 (pirate, it's the same because HTC doesn't give answers to original) so? Is anybody in HTC aware of the problem? It's serious... "Thinkin' about movin' to iPhone... hope the apple provide answers to bugs!" Winbugs Mobile 6.1 Do you find this valuable? |
