Edit / Delete emails acounts on HTC - VOdafone V1415
Jul 24 2007, 4:59 AM EDT The Settings and Delete options are greyed out on each of the email accounts!!! How do I edit or delete an email account 6 out of 8 found this valuable. Do you? |

I want to delete "Outlook Email" and just let ActiveSync do its thing... but when I hold down the stylus, get the "Delete" button, it's greyed out, and when I hit it anyway, I get a BEEP.... Ideas??? 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Oct 30 2007, 6:52 AM EDT "Outlook Email" is made available by default for synchronization through ActiveSYnc and cannot be deleted. What you can delete however, is new email accounts that are setup by the user. 0 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

Aug 12 2008, 11:56 AM EDT hey this is dre from Gener8ion Solutions what you need to do is go thru the setup of the existing mail address and when u reach the last step that requires items to sync, un-check all i.e calendar email contacts etc. then go to active sync which shoudl be some where after Finishing the setup. well then do the active sync fully and when its done the delete area will not any more greyed u kan now delete the existing email account and create a new one.
