What kind of answer is that! Either you don't really know, or you're just a big tease. I've been reading August/September 2007? If you know something just spill it. I'm looking forward to this device on AT&T network (AKA 8925) in the US.

I really wish that they don't remove the front camera, but somehow I know it is inevitable. They better not touch the GPS feature, otherwise it would not be worth getting this unit. Removing the GPS would put the Kaiser in same sphere as the 8525 having just a few performance enhancements. GPS makes the Kaiser a killer phone. 0  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

so true so true, im waiting to see what cingular/att is gonna do with it, i personally have tmobile and am gonna unlock it.

if those bastards take crap out of the kaise i might as well import an unlocked true kaiser from europe.

same here though hearing augusts all of the place. i just called att and htc and neither of them "knew" the release date. try to get to those higher tiers of techy guys, usually they know something. I think not releasing the date is to keep the heat on the gay overprived overrated iphone. think if they were to release them at the same time and people would actually be smart and read up, kaiser hands down. i like my 8525 WAYYYYYYYY better then that crappy iphone 0  out of 11 found this valuable. I think even if HTC or AT&T knew anything they wouldn't say anyway. It's like in the work place; all your information is proprietary and confidential therefore divulging this type of information could jeopardize the company its and products/services. I found these forum topics popup in my feeds today. Looks like August 2007 is probably legit.

Although this date is rather vexing to me since a device will need clear the FCC prior to release. i.e. 8525 was released on November 16, 2006 -I believe, however paperwork was submitted to FCC as early 10/27 just about 3 weeks out from release. Hmm, makes me somewhat want to second guess an August release at this point. I would be –happily surprised if August is REALLY the release date. I place my bets on late August or even September time for this auspicious release.

Yeah I know. Actually if you read the comments on TomTheGeek blog, you'll see that Tom is just repeating what he read; just like the rest of us. It's all just one big rumor circle of a stories feeding off one anther.

I can't remember what website I saw this on, but one site that is taking pre-orders for the HTC Kaiser indicated that the they would be shipped out on Aug 22nd. I don't know if this is just the vendor's expectation or they have a source. 0  out of 11 found this valuable. Do you?

According to the fcc website it looks like the htc 4550/kasier/8925 has passed inspection. Latest news on the release date of the 8925 is October 1, 2007. Not sure how many times the release has been pushed but Oct. 1st is the third revised release date to my knowledge. Do you find this valuable?
