Why does the sound not come through my Bluetooth Headset?

I hate the fact that I cannot make calls very easily with my 8525 handset. I got and installed Voice COmmand 1.6. Although it seems to work, a few questions.

Is there a program on my handset where I can access it and miodify it? It does not appear in my programs.

I cannot press a button on my bluetooth headsert to activate voice command. I have to press the button on the handset. After I do that, I would like to talk and hear the commands through the headset, but all the sound comes from the speaker on the handset. Is there a way to get all sounds through the bluetooth headset?

Thanks.

That feature is not supported by the Windws build loaded (or available) on the device. There are many blogs out there that will tell you what Windows build you need. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

You can't find Voice Command in "Programs" It shows up in "Settings". Go to Start>Settings>Personal Tab. Tap on the Voice Command icon. That will take you to the Voice Command control screen. Check the box "Enabled" then check all the items you want voice enabled. When you have check those boxes, each choice "Calendar, Phone, etc have Options and Notification choices. You have to set the Options and Notifications for each device you want to have voice enabled to tell VC whether to announce information thru Bluetooth only or BT & speaker, etc. I used VC 1.6 (various builds) on my 8125, then 8525, then 8925 (Tilt) and it has worked well with all three. I'm having problems making it work with my Fuze. There is a VC/BT conflict problem on the Fuze, but the 8525 should work fine for you when you get it set up.

Make sure you look at the Microsoft Tutor for VC. VC does a lot for you if you learn how to use it. If you have trouble screen dialing ... push the VC button and say "Dial 415-555-1212" and it will dial it for you. You can use it to play a particular title on Windows Media Player "Play - songname" and it will play it. Post back if you are having trouble.
