Get MOST sounds to the headset
Apr 10 2007, 3:14 PM EDT
I installed Voice Command on my Cingular 8125's (HTC Wizard) storage card.
I like to keep using the standard Voice Speed Dial to dial some frequent numbers. Using the hack above, I can activate Voice Speed Dial from the BT headset. All is well, except that when Voice Speed Dial repeats back the recorder name to me, it comes from the speaker rather than the headset. Other than that, all works well! Do you find this valuable?

Look at it from this point of view, What if the programer thought of doing it this way sort of to avoid making unwanted accidental calls? Say for example, a lot of people carry their phones in their pocket or carrying pouch, and take their BT off and place it in a pocket or purse. Then accidentally the BT button gets pushed and the voice comander activates. In an environment where others are talking, it could easily dial a call. It happend to me many times with other phones. Say VC got activated, and I was talking with a friend and I said the word "phone" and sound wise it sounds just like "home" and it dialed my home number... Lucky my wife didn't know english!! :)
