Battery Life issues

Agree with the first poster regarding the data connection not being released. I have a MTeor and if I manually disconnect after syncing, I get 2 days battery life easily. If I don't disconnect, even if I don't transfer any data over the data connection after syncing, the battery life is less than 8 hours! This is really poor and there is no fix planned.

I have asked the folks over at Pocketmax if they can add a data disconnection function to phoneAlarm SP (it is part of phoneAlaram for PDA). If you have a MTeor (or any WM5 phone which is affected by this issue, and I know there are others), please post your support here http://www.pocketmax.net/smf/index.php?topic=4009.0 - if they get anough requests, they may try to add the feature.

"HOW LONG DOES TYTN 11 BATTERY LAST"
I have the AT&T version (Tilt) and with heavy emailing, texting and phone calls, I charge every day and a half but if I use BT, WiFi and/or GPS, I have to charge everyday. This is expected behavior based on the advertised standby and talk times (I dont think my device is ever in standby for long since I use it so much).

I found out that I constantly have to view programs running in the background in order to conserve battery life. I stop any unwanted programs running, so it helps. It works for me now....

If you have the AT&T Tilt (or any other newer device), there is an option in Task Manager that makes it so when you X out of a program, it shuts that program down. It is on the Button tab in Task Manager.
