How can I get Windows Mobile 6 for my Cingular 3125 I bought 8/2006

Has anyone found information on how one can upgrade the 3125 to Windows Mobile 6? Do you find this valuable?

Microsoft has made the upgrade free to manufacturers and cell providers...so, if htd wants to be nice to us, hopefully they will make an upgrade for us to WM6. Anyone at htc care to confirm? Do you find this valuable?

in this day and age of technology... new versions should be available if recently purchased phone around bew version was released....and if phone is capable of upgrading that is a bit older...offer a price to upgrade... just like regular dekstop/laptop version Windows!!!! cell phones are getting better and better...not quite DISPOSABLE like the manufacturers are imposing on us when they DECIDE if we can upgrade or not. MOST people sign 2 year leases...and stick with that phone for that time then upgrade when lease is up...so the manufacterers WILL get their money anyways when time to UPGRADE phone model. I am not about to buy and new phone every 6 months just because the technolgy changes on a constant basis...but the OS should be available for upgrade during that 2 year time until phone model upgrade. Do you find this valuable?

HTC has released a list of WM5 phones for which they are releasing an unpdated ROM. The 3125 is NOT on the list.

HTC said that they would release WM6 for others IF CARRIER REQUESTED. Each of you who have Cingular 3125 should send written email requests to Cingular to drive home the point that those of us who have purchased this device (mine in Sep 06) should be given this upgraded software.

Get your request off TODAY. We need to build a large number of requests if we are going to have even a chance of getting the upgrade for our Cingualr 3125.

I have found a guy who will upgrade your HTC 3125 for $ 60.00,which also includes unlocking it.(I personally have T-Mobile with my 3125..? But to contact him just go too youtube, type in HTC3125,then under the videos.. Look for ( moshman).. Thats how I did it, he had mine back with windows mobile 6.1 on it in 2 wks..... choww... 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

These are not official HTC roms, these arecooked roms based on official roms. Just so you know. Do you find this valuable?
