OK. What backup app have you found that is reliable in restoring the entire device after a cold/hard reset? 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

i have used both sprite backup and spb. The sprite backup seemed to do the backup but when I went to restore it did not restore my PIM files or my voice commander so it was sort of useless. I talked with their tech support who could not solve the issue. So I trialed the Spb and it worked great totally restoring the device after a hard reset. It may just be an issue with the add on software I have, but for me spb works and as you can do a free trial... 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

per spb manual is says do not use spb backup after a rom update as it may cause problems. Do you find this valuable?

Hey Guys,
Check this out... finally Sprite Backup has released other languages...now we can have Sprite Backup in 22 languages...I think is a great news specially that as an HTC user we only pay $10 for the upgrade. .http://www.spritesoftware.com/backup-language-files/ Sprite Handles ROM upgrade and also Data Migration. I have important stuff on my device so I prefer to use Sprite Backup. It was shipped with my HTC Touch and I am sure that HTC will choose the best backup application...so I want to keep it that way...

I am NOT so sure that HTC would choose the best backup application. I have been checking other message boards regarding the tilt and have found that since its release, people have been complaining about the lack of good video playback on the device. XDA developers (the cellphone technicians) found it to be caused by a lack of proper drivers so the company could save money. This problem wasn't fixed by HTC until just a few months ago. Just google "tilt video playback" and see. Thanks for the info. Do you find this valuable?
