I have a Transcend 4GB minsdhc card and it does not work with the SPRINT PPC-6700/HTC-Apache with latest firmware/OS upgrade. It locks the phone up until it is removed. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I don't know about a 4GB card, but I do have a 1GB card that works fine. But more space is always nice. Does anyone know if there is a maximum size SD card the PPC 6700 will support? I hesitate to buy a bigger one until I know it will work. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

HTC tech support claims the largest memory size they have tested, and guarantee compatibility, as of 3/16/07 is the 2GB miniSD card. They did not seem to know the difference between SD and SDHC. 4  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

If you're still using the PPC-6700, I've been running this with Helmi_C's Windows Mobile 6.1 and it's been pretty stable. I've upgraded the system so I can run 8gb Mini SD made by patriot bought on NewEgg.com for about $35.00. I use it for my everyday business, and it blows WM5 away. Just buy the card, then go to PPCGeeks.com and use the kitchen rom to upgrade. If all else fails, you can always flash back to the original OS which is on the sprint site. 2  out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?
