Delete all contacts
Nov 26 2006, 1:53 AM EST Is there a way to delete all contacts from my 8125? I want to sync to my contacts in outlook with a fresh start. 5 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Delete all contacts
Dec 8 2006, 8:33 AM EST The easiest way I have found is to backup the contact in outlook (PC), sync, delete all the contact in outlook (PC), sync, then restore from the backup. To do it just from the phone, I think that you have to delete each one individually or clear the entire phone. 2 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |

RE: Delete all contacts
Jun 22 2008, 4:37 AM EDT Contacts live on "pim" file on root folder. This can not be deleted but there is a way: 1. Rename "pim" file to something else. 2. Reboot your device 3. Delete the old renamed file. 4. Resync 11 out of 11 found this valuable. Do you? |

Sep 2 2008, 12:54 PM EDT Just and update for the instructions If you can't get to your to contacts or calendar after you reset the phone (the phone does nothing) just delete de pim file again, the system automatically creates another pin file immediately this time in blank. This worked on a Cruise 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
