Is there any way to get the screen to light up when I get a new text?

Try as I may, I can not figure out how to do this. Maybe it just isn't an option? But with every other phone I have ever had, when I got a new text message, regardless of what setting the phone was on (ring/vibrate/silent/etc) the screen would light up when I received a text. My Fuze does not do this, and I miss that feature. A lot of times I have the phone on silent (like when I'm at work all day), and I never know if I've gotten a new a new message unless I keep taking the phone out of sleep mode and checking. Vibrate is so loud the people around me can hear it, so I have to leave the phone on silent at work. So, is there some setting I can change to get the screen to light up and take it out of sleep mode when I get a new text? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! :) Do you find this valuable?

If you go to settings/ sounds and notifications/ notifications and scroll down to new text messages, you can check the box for screen display and blinking light, both work on my Tilt, even when it is asleep and set to silent. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Hmm...I already have "Display message on screen" and "Flash light" checked in my settings. It still doesn't wake up my screen upon receiving a new message.

I haven't tried it yet. I'm not incredibly tech savvy so honestly I don't know how I would go about downloading diamond tweaks? I still hate not having this feature and wish it was available in the regular phone settings!
