Call the phone with extension number

While I calling, screen became in dark, I could not add any extension number on keypad as the operator required. Anyone give me your advice.

The device screen is going to sleep to conserver battery power (this is normal). Press the Power Button once to wake the screen up so you can enter the extension for the number you are calling. Do you find this valuable?
