New Touch Pro 2 Blue Tooth Issues
Nov 4 2009, 4:44 PM EST
First problem...I have to lock the phone using a Simple PIN so that I don't accidentally dial someone when the phone is jiggling in my purse. With my old Touch Pro, I could still dial out from my car's bluetooth without unlocking the phone. No so with the Touch Pro 2. Is there a way around this or a simpler way to make sure I don't accidentally dial someone?Second, the phone runs VERY slowly when connected to BT, randomly ends the call then immediately reconnects, and then won't disconnect until I've pressed end numerous times. I've just stopped using the BT altogether and am considering returning the phone but would prefer a fix since I love the slide out QWERTY keyboard and other phone options. Do you find this valuable?

It is a problem with how they handle the Bluetooth Stack in the operating system. They came out with a ROM update that solved it. If you really love the phone, HTC will probably come up with a fix or a ROM upgrade for this one too. You should contact HTC tech support and let them know about your problem. When they get enough complaints, they will act. Do you find this valuable? |
