need help on my htc touch 6900

i have went online and tried to switch my dads service 4 him ,i bought him a new htc phn frm the jockey lot whn i try to change his account over on htc it says tht there is service already active on phone is there a hack i can put in or a crack 2 put his service on there also the service is not letting u make phn calls it says 2 call customer service so i figure it mightreported lost or stolen so could u help me with any info? Do you find this valuable?
