I presume you are trying to access the internet in China. I just read that China Mobil is bringing in the iPhone with WiFi and 3G disabled. I don't know much about Chian Mobile, but they may be doing the same thing. I understand that 3G is not available in most of China at this time. I would think you could connect with Edge and GPRS. Obviously the Tilt2 is built for the U.S. market, but instead of the normal 850/1900 MHz frequencies for 3G, the Tilt also looks for 3G on 2100. This may get you on the internet when 3G expands there.

go to this site for apn gprs settings
http://www.flexispy.com/Mobile%20APN%20Setting%20to%20use%20GPRS.htm
add new modem and add the apn settings and bingo you get your e mail from hotmail. works fine in vietnam on edge network. china will be next. lets see if it works
