Could you provide more info. What device? what operating system? When the phone won't connect is it because it's "frozen" or will it do other things? Have you tried a soft reset when your phone won't connect? Does it solve the problem?

I have the ATT Fuze with Windows Mobile 6.5. I usually restart the phone everyday. The phone doesn't work in my house either most times while my son's Tilt and his mom's Iphone work fine Do you find this valuable?

AT&T hasn't released an official WM6.5 ROM for the Fuze, so I presume you are using a cooked ROM. I have a Tilt and my wife has a Fuze, we find the the Fuze running WM6.1 has a better radios for phone and WiFi than the Tilt. She can connect to WiFi and make phone calls on her Fuze when my Tilt is still searching for a connection. It sounds as though you may have a hardware problem. Is the phone still under warrantee with AT&T? They will generally replace the phone with a refurbed phone up to one year from date of purchase (and will sometimes stretch that a little). BUT - if you are running a cooked ROM, you should flash back the original AT&T official 6.1 ROM, because they will tell you that you voided your warrantee by loading a cooked ROM if you send it back for warrantee replacement with the 6.5 ROM loaded.

Before you replace the device, you might try backing everything up to your storage card (I use Sprite Backup to do that - it may be on your phone, depending on the ROM) then do a hard reset. That will refresh the ROM and you can then do a restore to get your data back. If that doesn't help, reflash the original 6.1 ROM and see if that helps. If all that doesn't improve the radio situation, you probably need to replace the phone.

One other long shot - the antenna in the Fuze is in the top 1/3 of the phone. If you happen to hold the phone in such a way that the upper part of the phone is covered by your hand, that could affect your reception - it's a long shot but easy to test.
