htc Hero syncs seamlessly with mac os X

Hi. My iPhone just died and am planning on an htc hero. Does it sync seamlessly with mac os x applications like ical, address book, contacts and entourage? Alternately, are there ay freeware apps that make this happen seamlessly? Do you find this valuable?

No, It will not sync unless you have some sort of third party syncing software. I use MissingSync with my WM phone and my Mac. but it is $39.95 ( worth every penny )

There are free apps, but you get what you pay for. Not all apps are Android compatible, so check them out thoroughly Do you find this valuable?
