"Can i upgrade HTC Fuze from 6.1 to 6.5? If i can where can i get the upgrade for?"The upgrade when and if it comes will be released by AT$T. I have heard conflicting reports as to whether AT$T is going to offer the upgrade for the Fuze. Do you find this valuable? |

"The upgrade when and if it comes will be released by AT$T. I have heard conflicting reports as to whether AT$T is going to offer the upgrade for the Fuze."I received 3 different emails from Microsoft talking about the fact that it's released. However, they direct you to links for the cellphone carriers and/or the cellphone manufacturers to see if an update for your specific phone is available yet. AT&T's website only advertises their new HTC phone the PURE (in the US). No mention of upgrades for us yet. It would be nice to have a 'legal' copy of 6.5. Just because that means that Microsoft may have gotten most of the bugs out and made some improvements. Somebody, ANYBODY....what's the REAL deal? Do you find this valuable? |

I guess i will just have to wait and see if AT&T will release anything. Thanks Guys. Do you find this valuable? |

5. RE: Upgrade to Windows 6.5

I had a conversation with AT&T this afternoon and they seem to be telling me that at some point, they WILL in fact, make Win 6.5 mobile available to those of us using 6.1. However, my heart goes out to denco7 because he was nice enough to provide me with the following recommendations:"I personally think that NATF ( not a treo fan ) cooks the best middle of the road cooked 6.5 roms. They are stable and easy to have virtually no bugs. Energy roms seem to be the most popular , but are more " pushing the limits " trying to make a unique rom. TPC ( two pump chump ) and josskoss are the best, for cutting edge, push the limits, impress the hell out of your friends and make them drool, roms. They are a little buggy but that is because they push the envelope They both fix the bugs and amke the roms great but they are works in progress. When I run 6.5, it is always a TPC rom. But it sounds like a NATF rom would suit your needs. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=539513 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=536751 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542712" I chose the last link which is the TPC version and I couldn't be happier. PS - I spoke with AT&T about possibly even upgrading my phone to a Tilt2 since it comes with 6.5 and has a sliding keyboard (like my Fuze). However, when they told me my upgrade price, I basically threw away any desire to change phones. For what AT&T is charging, it's not an upgrade, it's a d@mn new phone!! Who has $349 to just throw into a new phone? Not in this economy and certainly not just for 6.5!! So I'll keep my Fuze and use TPC's awesome ROM. It was like getting a brand new Win 6.5 phone anyway :) Do you find this valuable? |
