frozen screen
Sep 26 2009, 1:02 PM EDT
I think it all started like this:I was aligning the screen which i have been doing successfully. this particular day i was aligning it when i observed that it was hanging. I interrupt the operation by just switching it off and on again. what i observed then was that the screen could not be tapped again. it is now "Frozen". Right now, I cannot use the start button, i don't have access to my contacts. I have tried to reset and no change. Please what do you thing I can do. Could it be that the screen has gone bad. No i am guessing that the screen is just reallly out of calibration because it froze. (hint': just let it work and unfreeze if it freezes next time lol),If you can, use the hardware keys to get to the calibration screen again, or if you wont loose to much info do a hard reset. Edit: Just thought about this as I pressed send. Download MyMobile With this app you can connect your device to your computer and control it from there. It auto installs the app to you device so it works really well if you cant use your screen. So what i would try is use this app to open the calibration screen then try calibrating it with the stylus Do you find this valuable? |

hi. thanks for your helpsad to know that is has gone frozen again. After the last incident, i had installed the mymobile and it was working well. two days ago i observed that it was hanging and later got frozen completely. I did hard reset, followed the procedure and got stopped at the point of aligning. it won't go beyond the point. do you know what to do. cheers Do you find this valuable? |

Yes, my HTC diamond has the same problem. The maintenance agent said repair/maintenance cost money. I just bought one year, It is so sensitive to shock. I will no longer buy HTC for my entire life. if there is another life, I will not buy it. The manufacturer has no tested the product to a degree that is durable. I spent $4000 dollars and I found it was a rubbish. Do you find this valuable? |

"hi. thanks for your helpIf you've performed a hard reset and the screen still won't let you align it, meaning the screen does not recognize STYLUS taps, then you'll need to call HTC and setup a repair. If you are within the 1 year warranty they don't charge for repairs. LoL @flameboot2004. Do you find this valuable? |
